Then we’ll talk! What works in your current kitchen? What are your priorities and wishes for your new kitchen?
Our goal is to work with you to make your new space happen! We can work with you every step of the way to ensure your new kitchen is well planned and functional. Learn more about our process.
Absolutely! Just give us a call or email and we can arrange a time that works best for you.
Overall costs are dependent on several factors like the size of your space and what you choose in terms of kitchen cabinet style, materials, countertops, appliances, and so on.
We will work with you to make you the best custom kitchen possible within the budget you’ve got.
We can help you prioritize your “must-haves” over your “nice-to-haves” so you can stay within your budget while creating an amazing kitchen. We can offer plenty of options and ideas at various price points: we present the options, you decide on the final budget!
We are strongly committed to completing your project on time. Our usual turnaround time for cabinets and furniture is approximately 6 to 8 weeks, once the design is finalized. (This is also when we will schedule your installation date.)
As we’re building your cabinets, other necessary trades can come in to complete preliminary renovation tasks like rough plumbing and electrical work, flooring, and painting.
Typical installs take 2 to 4 days, depending on the size and complexity of the job.
We love drawers! Drawers maximize storage space, they’re convenient, and they save you from a lot of rummaging and reaching inside your base cabinets. They can be organized to hold everything from plates to pots and pans to canned goods, and they’re extremely strong since we use drawer glides that are made to support plenty of weight.
Our cases are made of 5/8”-thick natural birch plywood. For our doors and drawer fronts, we have an almost unlimited choice of woods. We also offer painted MDF, acrylic, and Tafisa® decorative panels for kitchens, and slab doors made of HPL (high-pressure laminate) or recycled panels. These materials are recommended for vanities, laundry rooms and mudrooms.
Soft-closing drawers and doors are standard in our kitchens, as are dovetail drawer boxes.
Every one of our kitchens is truly unique, because each aspect is selected by you: from the cabinet style, wood and finish to lighting and fixtures to accessories that increase your kitchen efficiency. We offer a huge range of accessories like special rollout pantries and corner cabinet solutions, under-sink garbage and recycling containers, and drawer and cabinet dividers.
Just like our furniture, individual cabinets can be customized for size – width, height, and depth – and with the right hardware and accessories to suit your individual needs and personal style. For efficiency’s sake, about 80-90% of your kitchen cabinets and drawers will be standard sizes, and the rest will be customized to fit your exact space and wishes.
Yes! We offer a large selection of standard knobs and handles! We also have a wide variety of options in our shop and can provide links to our suppliers for a more personal choice.
Yes. We have the ability to provide a “turnkey” experience, which means we can design, build and install! We will book the installation date when the kitchen design is finalized and provide a window of flexibility in case of delays.
If you prefer, we also do “supply only” kitchen cabinets: design and build cabinets for you or a contractor to install. We also build to your design.
The following should be completed before the installation date: flooring, painting, rough plumbing, rough electrical. You should speak with your countertop maker so they can order your materials and book the manufacturing time for your project. This will help reduce the wait when it’s time to install the countertops.
Plan for at least a bit of kitchen downtime during renovations. You may want to consider setting up a temporary kitchen with a microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, slow cooker/Instant Pot, and even a hot plate. Don’t forget about your BBQ! If you have one, you could use a camper/RV!
Laundry sinks are inexpensive and can be hooked up to your water line outside!
Once the cabinets are installed, a final measurement for countertops will occur and a template for your countertop will be created so they can be built.
Communication with the countertop company beforehand is key. Pre-booking their manufacturing time and making a rough booking for the final measurement/template date and installation dates can help reduce the wait. The time in between template and installation is usually dependent on the countertop company, but is usually at least one to three weeks.
If you’re doing a straightforward replacement where your new items will have the same dimensions as the old ones, keep your old countertop & sink. They can be temporarily used during the period between cabinet installation and countertop installation.
Yes, absolutely. We warrant that our cabinets or related products are free from defects in materials and workmanship.
